The Best Is Yet To Come!

Now it happened when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the walls of Jerusalem were being restored and the gaps were beginning to be closed, that they became very angry, and all of them conspired together to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion. (Nehemiah 4:7-8)

This very scripture is a comparison to the very same warfare God’s people are facing right now. The walls of Jerusalem being restored and the gaps being closed is an analogy to what is happening to the church today in general and individually in our lives. God is visiting us with restoration in our spirits, our souls and our bodies and in doing so the enemy is seeing and hearing what is going on and he is very angry. The demonic realm is conspiring to come against us as a church and also individually and create confusion. We know who the author of confusion is, the devil. We must stand against the enemy and fight him through spiritual warfare and speaking God’s word against him. Keep in mind, we win! The fight we are in right now is a fixed fight! We already know the outcome! We overcome Satan through the blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony and by loving not our lives unto the death. We have the victory but we must enforce it. Stay in the Word, pray without ceasing, uphold your brethren and keep your heart pure before God. Be encouraged today to stand strong.

It is always before the greatest victory, that the most difficult attacks are encountered. There are always casualties and fatalities in any kind of warfare. That also includes spiritual warfare. The joy we have in this war is that our end is secure no matter what the earthly outcome may look like. Jesus has secured us a place in eternity with the Father and no one can take that away. Be strong and of good courage my brothers and sisters, the best is yet to come!
