Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. (Psalm 112:6-7)

In this life we will have tribulation. We will go through hard times and pain, but the hope that we have is in knowing our God. No matter what negative report comes from the doctor, no matter what bad news is brought to us about our health, we can remain steadfast in Him by trusting in His goodness and mercy.

If we were to look back on our lives and remember all the horrible diagnoses that came from the mouths of well studied doctors we can see that God has still brought us through. We are still in the land of the living serving Jesus. The enemy will constantly try to chip away at our faith through words spoken over us by people we trust and admire. We must stand firm in the faith that we have in Christ Jesus and speak God’s word over us daily.

There are so many who need this word today because their situation is trying to get the best of them and the Lord is saying,”keep your eyes on Me. Do not look to the left or to the right. Keep your focus on Me and perfect peace will be flowing through you like a river because of My Spirit in you. Do not give up!”

Hear the word of the Lord and remain in His peace knowing that we need not fear bad news, our hearts are steadfast trusting in the Lord!
