Seed Time And Harvest

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9)

We must know that even when we come to Jesus, the bad seeds that we have sown in the past are still reaped. If we sow corruption, we reap corruption. If we sow in the Spirit, we reap life. So many people lose faith and blame God when they see that their issues and problems are not being solved right away. We must realize that God is not mocked, whatever a man sows, that shall he reap (Galatians 6:7). Once a decision is made to sow good seed, do not become tired if you still see yourself reaping bad things from all the old bad seed that was sown. In time the bad reaping will fall and die and the good seed sown will reap a good harvest.

The Lord wants you to be encouraged today to stand strong and let time take its course. Sow into God’s kingdom for His glory and in that you will reap life and blessings. Until you see that happening, do not grow weary in well doing, for in due time you will reap if you do not lose heart! There are many, many blessings and promises that we have from God. What we must realize is that there are conditions on all of them except His love.

Throughout God’s word there are: “if you”, “I will statements”. If you do this….. I will do this. But His love is unconditional and unchangeable toward us. Seek out the scriptures and find out for yourself how to have access to God’s blessings. Keep in mind that the sooner you start sowing good seed, the sooner the good will be reaped. The beautiful thing about Jesus is that He walks us through the reaping process whether bad or good. He holds our hands and makes consequences durable and peace available through every situation.

As long as the earth remains, there will be seed time and harvest. (Genesis 8:22)
