Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)
There are more references to angels in the new testament then there are in the old testament. Angels surrounded Jesus and contribute to the building of the Church. Being in a deliverance ministry myself, I see the constant appearance of the demonic realm which Jesus Himself readily and steadily took authority over. Demons are very prevalent in today’s society due to the increase of sin. Sin is a magnet for demons so the more sin, the more demonic activity. God’s word tells us that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. What is grace? It is the empowerment of God, therefore where sin is, the power is there from God in abundance to over throw the forces of Satan through Jesus Christ.
Angels are ever present with believers and we know that the Angel of the Lord surrounds those who fear Him. We don’t pray to angels, but we do ask God to release His angels for our protection and to further His will in our lives. As much as we know about the enemy’s camp, it is beautiful to study and usher in the presence of angels who can not say what we can. They have not been redeemed, but we have. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
Take some time today and thank God for all the times He has saved you without you even knowing. The times when cars were about to hit you but didn’t, the times when a bullet was aimed at you but missed, the times when a sickness or disease was seeking to kill you but it never manifested. There is so much that could have taken us out but did not, because God sent His ministering spirits to save us. Give Him thanks all you who are inheriting salvation! We have so much to be thankful for! Thank God for ministering spirits.
