Lead Me

Lead me in a plain path. (Psalm 27:11)

“Many people want to direct God instead of resigning themselves to be directed by Him. Many want to show Him a way instead of passively following where He leads.” (Madame Guyon)

Wherever you are that God has you, stay there. It is essential with what is happening in the world that we listen and obey God’s guiding. If  some of us feel we are not being utilized for God’s purpose, yet we are in the right place, then be patient and humble. Do not jump out of God’s plan, especially at this crucial time. The enemy would love to have us walk out of our calling! Timing is essential.

One thing I have learned is that no matter who we are, no one can accomplish what God has placed in you to do for Him. This is why everyone is important in the body of Christ! You can reach people that others can not and that is why the enemy desires to shift us out of position by using the words of others, our own insecurities or just plain old physical and spiritual attacks on our bodies and souls.

Be still and know that He is God and trust Him no matter what. This is a time of listening to God’s voice and obeying. Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. Remove the weights that hold down the spirit and soul and throw them off to fly in this season of historical change and triumph for the Church of Jesus Christ.

We must always keep in mind that is not how we start that is most important, but rather how we finish. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says it perfectly, “better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Psalm 40:1 tells us,” I waited patiently for the LORD; He turned to me and heard my cry.”

Wait patiently for the Lord and finish the calling that He has given you. This very day, say to the Lord,” Lead me and I will follow.”
