“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)

We waste so much of our life worrying about this and that. We worry about our finances, we worry about our future, we worry about our loved ones, we just live life worrying. If we were to reflect back on all God has carried us through, we would tend to worry less. Worry is a fruit of doubt and unbelief which actually has the power to stop God’s hand from moving in our lives. Remember that Jesus was hindered from performing miracles due to lack of faith from the people who were surrounding Him.

One of the greatest bi products of intimacy with Jesus is soaring faith. As our faith grows, worry decreases, so therefore the antidote to the toxin of worry is intimacy with our Lord. To know His heart, truly brings us peace, trust and relaxation for our soul that can only come from Him.

As you tarry through your day, your week, your year, your life, always strive to remember that His ways are higher than ours which means He sees everything from heaven downwards so He sees all, not just a linear portion. He knows the end from the beginning. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts which means His thoughts are perfect, not tainted as ours are. Trust Him who fashioned us and who walks us through this life. He truly knows best and His ways are perfect.
