And I have put My words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My hand. (Isaiah 51:16).
For over 40 years I had a spirit of fear residing in my soul that had controlled every decision I made. I knew God’s word said that He had not given me a spirit of fear, but I had been deceived to think that what I felt was normal because that spirit entered me when I was a small child. When I spoke, I was always unsure of myself, when I did something I always took back seat, out of fear of failure. I never raised my hand in school out of shame. I hated who I was. God told me many times that He would use me mightily for His glory, but I then thought that was impossible. When God set me free from demonic bondages, I was amazed at who I had become because of the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit that lives in me. But when I first gave my testimony, fear had encompassed me, but this time it was different. Fear was outside pushing in, not inside controlling me. God had shown me that He had given me the power over fear and that fear had nothing in me anymore. The Lord said to me, “Michael, just open your mouth and I will fill it.” I’m so thankful for the Holy Spirit who is our Helper. Know when you share, that it is His Word using your mouth.
I’m believing even right now that as you read this devotional that Jesus is going to set you free from the spirit of fear that has so many held in bondage. I speak freedom over you in Jesus’ name to be bold in the Lord and in the power of His might. Chains are breaking, thought patterns are changing, emotions are falling in line and restoration is taking place. Only believe and receive. As you walk in faith open your mouth and speak what He tells you to speak. Say what He tells you to say. Go where He tells you to go.
Make a conscious decision today that a change is going to take place in your life! Make a conscious decision that those things that have had you bound, need to release you in Jesus’ name! Great victory requires great sacrifice. Whatever needs to be sacrificed in your life for your victory to take place, sacrifice it! If God is asking something from you, it’s because He has something bigger and better for you! Trust Him and speak victory out of your mouth.
The only way to walk in the blessings of God is to obey Him. As you obey Him, He will place His word in your mouth!
