He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. He shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)
 Never need we be afraid of the enemy nor anything in life because God has dispatched mighty warring angels to protect His own.  He is also our shield which protects us from big attacks from the enemy and He is our buckler which is a small guard against those smaller unseen attacks that might otherwise be overlooked. God takes care of everything. He surrounds us with favor as a shield. He has our backs and he also goes before us to prepare the way. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you. He also has your sides protected! God is faithful and He has proven Himself time and time again. He will never let you down, our part is to trust Him.

One of the ways to stay satisfied in this life is to have a grateful heart. God’s word tells us to give thanks with a grateful heart. As you are going through your day today, start to remember the times that your life was in danger but miraculously, you were saved. The times that the doctor gave you no hope but you came through. Even the times that you don’t know about, such as when a car was about to turn the corner and hit you, but unknowingly to you, an angel kept you from walking into death. Another time when you were supposed to take a certain route to your destination and for some reason, you took a different way only to find out that if you went the original route, you would have been involved in a fatal accident.

God protects us everyday without us even knowing. Thank Him today. Recognize Him in your walk through this very day. Acknowledgement of God continually will keep a grateful heart steady and in staying grateful, you will be continually satisfied.

He covers you with His feathers because He loves you!
