Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” (Mark 1:41)
The compassion that Jesus shows and shares with us is amazing. He takes the individual time for each of us to be healed and ministered to. This man who was a leper, asked Jesus if He was willing to cleanse him from his disease and Jesus’ answer was and is the same. I am willing!
Many times all we need to do is ask. We get not because we ask not and when we do ask, we ask for the wrong things. When what we are asking from God lines up with His will for our lives, something happens. There is power in agreement, so when we agree with God on what His word says, change takes place. The enemy of our lives, which is Satan, has to flee when we agree with what God says. This is evident in the scripture that says, “submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. Notice there is a prerequisite for the devil to flee. First we must submit to God which means we place ourselves under the Lordship of Jesus Christ through our obedience to Him. When we walk in obedience to God’s word, then we can resist the devil and he will flee. We can resist Satan all our lives and not walk in victory if we are not submitting to God. On the other side of obedience are the blessings.
Know that Jesus is willing to do for you what you desire for yourself that is in accordance to what God desires. As we die to our own passions and dreams and take on the dream of God’s heart, we then have great access to miracles, signs and wonders. All of these things shall follow those that believe and believing isn’t simply mental knowing, believing for us is attached to acting on what we believe.
Do your part today in receiving from God by submitting to His will and His ways and watch the supernatural become a constant in your life. Yes, He is willing to cleanse you!
