He Is The Potter

But now oh Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay and You our Potter, and all we are the work of Your hand. (Is.64:8)

When we take matters in our own hands, we rearrange the natural order of who we are and how we were created. Can the clay tell the potter forge me this way or shape me like this? Certainly not! We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are the work of God’s hand. As His work, let us remember that being molded and formed at times does not feel comfortable. We do have the comfort of knowing that the perfect One knows all and is the Master Designer of all creation and He knows what is good for us. We are daily being molded into the image of God’s Son in this earth. Let Him mold you.

God uses different ways to mold us. I have seen Him use difficulties. I have seen Him use pain. I have seen Him use sickness. Notice I said use, I did not say cause. God does not cause pain or sickness or disease but He will certainly utilize those avenues for our betterment. His ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts higher than our thoughts. The very situation that you are looking at today was designed to bring you to a new level in Him even though the enemy may be the one bringing it. Even Satan’s tactics are turned around for our own good. All things work together for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

No matter what you are walking through, know that everything that is allowed in your life is being utilized for your good. Nothing in life is wasted if we belong to the King!
