He Delights In You

He also brought me out into a broad place, He delivered me because He delighted in me. (Psalm 18:19)

When we are under attack, it is God’s delight to deliver us because He delights in us. When we are one with Jesus, we are one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. When the Father sees us, He sees His Son. The same love He has for His Son, He has for us. With all that is going on in the world today, we need to know that Jesus is with us.

The enemy is walking around like a lion seeking whom he may devour. Let him know who you are in Christ. He may not devour you because you belong to God and you are covered by the Blood of Jesus. Do not fear the things that are happening today because God’s word says that the righteous will not be forsaken and their seed will not go begging for bread.

As darkness grows darker, we as the light in this world have the opportunity to shine brighter! Light is brightest when the dark is darkest. It is comparable to the opening verse that says,” He also brought me out into a broad place.” When we are in a broad place, we are open to be seen by everyone, to be visible, especially by our enemies. It is the same with darkness. As we shine the light of Jesus in a dark world, we will be seen by everyone because darkness is always illuminated by light. In the end, darkness never wins!

We are delivered, set free and allowed to escape from all types of bondage because God delights in us. Think on things today that will lift you up and bring to remembrance all that God thinks and feels about you. Think on things that are lovely, things that are pure, just, honest and whatever things that are of a good report; if there be any praise, any virtue, think on these things!
