You shall no longer be termed forsaken nor shall your land any more be termed desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah and your land Beulah; for the Lord delights in you and your land shall be married. (Isa.62:4)

Just when we think we feel we are forsaken and empty, God tells us that we are not alone! Now He names us Hephzibah, His delight. He tells us we are called Beulah, the married one. God’s restoration plan for our lives is a beautiful and credible doing by God Himself. The process which God chooses to restore and refine us with is hardly ever one we would choose if we look at it through the eyes of flesh. To see through the eyes of the Spirit we would see the outcome so spectacular, but then we would need no faith for that journey if we knew the end result. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Please God and believe Him and trust Him. He has your best at heart and He loves you more than you can possibly imagine.

Our heavenly Father knows the end from the beginning. He knows our every decision before the situation arises for us to decide. We can now understand why God saved us from death so many times and why He has given us life when by all means, it looked the opposite. God knew the decision we would eventually make to serve Him. He knew that we would finally turn to Him and do what He desired us to do. 

We have all been spared from wrath because of His great mercy. He Himself has given us His Spirit to teach us all things so that we could make the decision to serve Him and be with Him for all eternity. His Spirit in us causes us to triumph no matter what the journey looks like that we are on.

Keep your eyes focused on the One who delights in us and stay the course. God delights in you and He already knows the ending to every one of our lives just like He knows the beginning. Take great joy today in knowing that He truly delights in you!
