Gateway Of Hope

I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. (Hosea 2:15)

When God told Moses to lead His people out of bondage, Moses first went through a valley of trouble. Before Abraham knew that God supplied him with a sacrifice, Abraham was first tested with sacrificing his own son, that was his valley of trouble that brought him to a gateway of hope. When Joseph was thrown in a pit and rejected by his family, his valley of trouble looked hopeless, but it guided him to be second in command of all of Egypt and to save his own family and a nation. Joseph’s valley of trouble opened the avenue to a gateway of hope. When the Jews went to possess the promised land, they first went through a valley of trouble before entering the land of milk and honey which was their gateway of hope.  Before John was given the great Revelation of Jesus, he was exiled to his valley of trouble on the isle of Patmos. When Jesus was in Gethsemane, He walked into the Valley of Trouble before He gloriously opened up the Gateway of Hope for us all.

Whatever your valley of trouble may be, whether sickness, heartache, pain, sorrow or any discomfort, know that someone has walked in it before you and has walked through that valley into a gateway of hope. Your gateway of hope is not far from you, you only need to keep walking to reach it. Be strong and of good courage for your gateway of hope is near and Jesus is waiting at that gateway as the Holy Spirit walks with you towards it.

We all experience fiery furnace times in our lives. The three Hebrew boys were thrown into the fire but remember they were met by Jesus who was waiting for them in that very fire. Jesus is waiting for you in your affliction, in your fire, in your tribulation. He is waiting in your trial to walk you out of it! We will not be burnt, we will not even smell like smoke!

What looks like your end, is really the pavement to your divine calling. See things the way God sees them. Every trial you face is an opportunity for God to greatly redeem you. The Lord will turn all your afflictions and tribulations into gateways of hope. Our part is to trust Him through the process
