I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.(Ps.27:13)
The Lord gave me this scripture when I was handed a death sentence by a doctor many years ago. Time and time again the devil told me that I was going to die. Time and time again the Lord reassured me of His life giving Spirit. Whatever you are going through this day, the Lord says to you that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Your purpose has yet to be fulfilled for God’s kingdom.
In life there are many moments that seem as if it would be the last, but we must remember that our days are in His hands. It is never easy to face mountains in our lives day after day while it seems as though nothing is changing, but the hope we have is in Jesus. In 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 it says,”Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
The word of God tells us to comfort one another by reminding each other that Jesus is coming back soon and His reward for us is with Him. He is our Healer, our Deliverer and our Comforter. Believe that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and do not lose heart.
The Lord doesn’t only want us focusing on receiving all our blessings in Heaven. He wants us to expect and receive blessings while here on earth. He wants us whole, healthy, prosperous and full of joy. The army of the Lord is no example to the world if we are torn up, poor and beaten down. God has great plans for the bride of Christ. Start to thank Him for the things not yet seen. Thank Him for your healing. Thank Him for your miracle. Thank Him for your prosperity and long life. Thank Him! God’s word tells us to give thanks with a grateful heart and to enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and His courts with praise. Being thankful has much to do with what we receive.
Take some time today to talk to God and thank Him and speak out the very things that you have need of. Decree a thing and it shall be established. God wants to spend time with you today and pour blessings upon you. Do not lose heart!
