A Good Land

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines of fig trees of pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. (Deuteronomy 8:7-9)

With all the suffering and pain that is taking place around us, we can look to God’s word and see it coming to pass. Mark 13:7-8 tells us,”But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.” The world shortly will be going through sorrows like never before, but these times are not moments for the church to lament but rather for us to take ground!

In the midst of these sorrows God will raise up mighty warriors and care takers for those who are in need. We as the body of Christ will be raised up in all ways to tend to those who are predestined but not yet adopted by God so that they will see the hand of the mighty God and become part of His family. We can look forward to great and mighty things that we know not of.

No matter what the state of our economy, our country or our world, God is in control of those who serve Him and we live off of heaven’s economy. Fear not for God is with us and He is bringing us into a place where we will lack nothing spiritually and physically. If you are worrying about the future, know that God has it all in His hands if you are living in Him. He is faithful to complete that which He has promised. If we choose to fear about the future, we then are not mature in love for perfect love casts out all fear. The enemy will always try to bring fear and worry about the future and he brings shame when we live in the past. Live in the here and the now so that we can be effective warriors for God’s kingdom.

Our future is in God’s hands and our past is erased by the blood of Jesus if we have put our trust in Him and confess Him as Lord. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land!
