Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing has happened to you. (1Peter 4:12)

In order to realize that we have mastered what we have learned, we need to be tested in that very area. Trials and tests are not to be looked at as something to destroy us, but rather something that will help us. The very areas in life that God has brought us triumph and deliverance are the same areas that Satan will try to make us believe that God truly hasn’t set us free. Satan did it in the garden with Eve. He told Eve that surely God didn’t tell you that you would die if you ate of the tree, when surely God did. The enemy will use people to say surely you haven’t changed or been set free from that bondage, when God says that we have.

When anyone tries to discredit what Jesus has done in your life or you feel a fiery trial coming your way, know that it is for your own good. When you trust in the Lord, you can not lose. The more intense the struggle with darkness, the more intense the trials, the greater the victories. Your test will become your testimony that you will use against the enemy himself. We overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and loving not our life unto death.

Stand strong in the Lord  and in the power of His might. Don’t think it strange when you are faced with a fiery trial. Know that God is working all things out for your good because He loves you!
