that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:12)
It is of the utmost importance that we labor on in Jesus, that we contend for the faith, not being lazy in fighting the good fight of faith. The enemy comes in many times by the cares of the world and the worries that follow with those cares. Our God truly will supply all of our needs and when our minds are on the things of God, then our concerns will be in alignment with God’s concerns, which are people.
There are certain people that we come across in our walk with God that make an influence on us and help us on our journey. When God places people of great faith and patience in your life, learn from them. So many these days are departing from the faith and losing their endurance because they are not seeing the very things that they have been believing for. There are many in God’s word who never attained to see the promise in their lives but still pressed on in God and they are examples to us. Be like Jesus and endure whatever your cross is. It was written about Jesus saying,”for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross.” He endured His cross and He will empower you to endure yours!
Don’t see your situations in life as a road block, but rather a bridge to the joy that is on the other side. This life will have many heartaches, but know that Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and whatever you face today, will have to bow to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Be encouraged this day, do not lose heart and imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
