And these are they by the way side, where the Word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts. (Mark 4:14)

Satan is not stupid, he knows what to do in order to keep the Word from penetrating our hearts, but God doesn’t leave us powerless. We have the authority through Jesus to come against the wiles of the enemy. Whenever we read God’s Word, we really have to concentrate and read it over and over and find out what it means so that It will get into our hearts and stay there. This is why studying God’s Word is so important. When we study His Word we show ourselves approved, a workman not ashamed rightfully dividing the Word of Truth. 

The enemy is trying to destroy what God is doing in His people so that lives would never be changed. One of the ways to fight him is by knowing God’s Word and the true meaning of His Word. There are many, many teachers, preachers and ministries that are loving people into hell. The love of God needs to be preached but it needs to be preached in truth. God’s love also warns us, disciplines us, instructs us, chastens us and guides us. Love is a two sided coin with the Lord, but both sides walk us into eternity with Him. We can not only have the side of love that tells us how wonderful and accepted we are without the side of warning us of sin and the danger of what happens when we walk out of the ways of God.

The great news is that we have all that we need in God’s Word to teach us. God is raising up ministers, preachers, pastors, prophets, teachers and apostles in these last days that will speak the truth with no compromise. How wonderful God is that He lets us know the strategy of the enemy so that we can combat him successfully. Rejoice today in Him and know that Jesus is with you always and you are never alone. Study God’s Word, get to be part of a church body that demonstrates and preaches the truth and be wise to Satan’s tactics!
