For God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14)

There is nothing that gets past God. We can not fool Him and He knows the motive of our hearts better than we do. What is done in secret will be brought to the light. Your sin will find you out. Thank God for the cleansing Blood of  Jesus and that He not only forgives our sins but also forgets them and because He forgets them He no longer has a judgement against us for them.

We must remember however that because we know His mercy, that does not give us a ticket to live in sin. We must fear the Lord because He is God and we cherish and revere what Jesus has done for us. We are no longer slaves to sin but rather overcomers and more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Do good to all and hold no grudges against anyone knowing that God holds nothing against us. Love others as God has loved you, unconditionally!

There are two things that motivate us to walk in obedience to God. First the love we have for Him and second, the fear of the Lord. Many times the fear or reverence of the Lord is what keeps us on the straight and narrow until we fully start to receive His love. When we honor God and fear Him, it is actually a sign that we are loving Him by obeying Him. There is only one way to be right with God and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. There is no other way. There is no other true God but Him and Him alone and if we love Jesus, we will obey Him. The action connected to love is obedience. We obey Him alone!
