Then he,(the angel), said to me,” Do not fear Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. (Daniel 10:12)
Ever think that it isn’t really important what we speak? Does not the Word say we will have what ever we speak? Did not God give us creative power through our words? Did not God speak the universe and heavens into existence? Are we not created in His image?
The devil knows this and he will tempt us to say things that we shouldn’t and also not to say things that we should. When we speak in line with God’s word, we literally catch God’s angels attention because we are speaking His will. In Psalms it tells us that the angels are listening to perform God’s Word, they accomplish this by hearing God’s Word from the mouth of His saints and it gives them the power to do His Word. It is so important that we learn His will by knowing His Word.
Proverbs 18:21 says,”The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”Ephesians 4:29 says,” Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” It is so important to monitor and gage what comes out of our mouth. Our words can build up or tear down, they can kill or give life!
There is always someone listening to our words. We were created as creative beings. When we speak life and truth, the angels carry out our words and when we speak death and anything contrary to God’s word, we are summoning evil to carry out those words. We all attract either good or evil with our words!
Do you want to wage war on the enemy and get his influence out of your life? Then speak God’s Word. That is what Jesus did every time Satan came against Him and Jesus overcame. We are more than conquerors through Him. God will visit you because of your words. When you speak God’s Word, you imitate Jesus.
