For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then My faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10)
In 2008 the Lord put it on my heart that there would be an economic disaster coming in the future that was of biblical proportion. I was not right with God at the time. I was hooked on drugs and living in deep sin. Shortly after that the Lord met me and I encountered His changing power. My life was forever changed. He moved me from California to Florida and told me to start a ministry to free others from bondage. So I did and that ministry is Lazarus Ministries. I say all this to say that the time of that economic disaster that the Lord placed upon my heart is coming very shortly.
The reason why He moved me to Florida was out of His love and concern for me. He knew that had I stayed in California when the economic crash came that I would have had no place to live, no family to help me and no hope to go on. He also knew that I was not depending on Him for my needs and my future. I was depending on everything else but Him. Still out of His great love, He called me, cleaned me up, sanctified and justified me for His use.
With what is shortly coming upon our country, which is a consequence for turning our back on God as a country, those who know Him do not need to fear. As it says in Isaiah 54:10, even though the mountains may shake and the hills disappear, His love for us will carry us through. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:34,”Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Everytime we look at the news we see countries at war, masses of people being murdered, economies falling and nations shaking their fist at God. This is prophecy coming to pass. Luke 21:26 tells us,”people will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” God’s word warns us of all that is starting to take place but do not fear! What is about to happen was written about thousands of years ago and we have the honor of living in the very days that it is unfolding. It is an honor because we will see an outpouring of God’s Spirit like never before.
If our trust is in Him then we are safe in Him! Do not be like the Hebrews who when they left Egypt, forgot all the good God had done for them. They desired to go back to Egypt into bondage rather than to subdue the future God had for them. As a result, those very Hebrew people were swallowed up by the earth opening up and consuming them and they lost their lives. God will walk you through your future no matter what it is. We never need to look back to the places and things that God has taken us from. The Lord is our provider, He will carry His people through the storms and the trials.
Keep in mind that without being faithful to God and trusting in Him, it is impossible to please Him. The enemy will always try to shake our faith because Satan knows that once we lose faith in God, we are bait for the enemy! Faith in God will carry us through everything that is soon to take place. Contend for the faith and keep your eyes on the prize. The prize is Jesus and to be with Him eternally!
