But He said to me,”My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness,so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Cor. 12:9)
It is in our limitations that God’s power flourishes. When we know that we are not sufficient in an area of our life is when the sufficiency of Christ is exposed all the more. We as God’s children do not need to fight and struggle to perform to do what God has called us to do, we just need to release that which is in us. What God has placed within us is His power through His Spirit. Instead of people going to a certain place for healing and deliverance, we as the place where God dwells brings the power to the people.
God has given everyone a personality, character, gifts, anointings and callings to further His will. He uses all of those to touch people but it is His indwelling Spirit that does the work. So let the pressure be lifted off of you in Jesus’ name to be a certain way or do a certain thing or say certain words. Be who God made you to be because no one does a better job at being you than you!
The Lord is saying to you today that you are precious and unique in His sight. He is saying do not despise your weakness for it in your weakness that My power is displayed. Allow God to pour out His power to others through you and just be a vessel for His glory!
