The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you saying, destroy him!” Deut. 33:27

In order for God to drive our enemy out, there first needs to be an enemy. There first must be a war, an attack, a situation, a disease, a sickness in which God shows Himself mighty. If we never faced tough times, we would never understand the great and mighty power of our great and mighty God.

When these battles face us head on and Satan is prowling around us as a lion and threatening to kill us, remember that one of our weapons that deters him is not giving into fear. Once fear is allowed to take residence in our life and not fought, we have lost the battle. Fear will weaken us and remove our faith. Faith and fear can not live in the same house. God will always allow circumstances in our lives that are designed to take us to new levels in our faith and relationship with Jesus. What the devil does is try to deceive us to think that those situations and circumstances are going to take us out and defeat us and to try and make us think that God is not in control. Satan is a liar and a very good one at that. He is a master deceiver and a counterfeit. Do not give into his lies, keep your faith strong.

Call upon the Lord in your time of need. He responds to faith but I have also known Him to respond to the needs of His people out of His love and compassion. God’s word tells us that Jesus was moved,(which means He had action attached to His emotion), with compassion when He saw the multitudes who had needs.

Stand strong today chosen people of God. Be strong and of good courage, yes be courageous and watch the salvation of the Lord your God take hold of you and destroy your enemies! Only believe.
