However, as it is written:“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him. (1Corinthians 2:9)
As we go through the walk of this life, the temptation is to look to this world for comfort, to seek the things of the world in order to bring a sort of peace to our weary souls. Some take solice in great homes, others expensive cars, others drugs, money and sex. All of these vices are idols that put walls up between us and God. Jesus has torn the veil that gave us access to the Father and one of the biggest things that Satan desires is to make us feel that the veil is back up again. Our part in this is to look to Jesus for all our comfort, all our fulfillment of desire and all our satisfaction.
Our Father has prepared things for us in eternity that no man has ever seen, no man has ever heard nor has any person ever even thought of before. The gifts and rewards that God has prepared for those who love Him are not able to be imagined by the greatest thinkers that ever lived. Take joy in knowing that though this life has heartache and tribulation that the life soon to come can not even compare with anything else.
Every time you feel like you can’t go on or the enemy throws past or present pain in your face, just remember what God has said about what He has prepared for you because He loves you and importantly, you love Him!
The Lord wants to encourage you today. He desires to lift you out of the ordinary and place you in the extraordinary. You are greatly loved by Him, accepted by Him, adored by Him and embraced by Him. Take joy in knowing that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning and soon and very soon we are going to see the King!
