Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.(Ps.126:5,6)

As long as the earth remains, there will be seed time and harvest. This principle is in effect with our tears as well. God tells us what our harvest is for sowing tears, Joy! Have absolute expectation that you will rejoice!

Our tears are as liquid prayers that lubricate the workings of joy in our lives. We have all shed many tears through our lives and we can be confident that we will see a harvest of great joy because of God’s promises. Be patient and know that in due time you will reap a harvest. Cry out to God and He will show you great and mighty things that you know not of. All of your tears through the years have a huge harvest of joy attached to them that is soon to be released. 

As you lift your requests to the Lord and sow in tears, He is eagerly awaiting your harvest for you. Remember that before a harvest is a waiting period, so be patient knowing that God will come through. You can not receive anything back at harvest time if you have not sown. Sowing and reaping is a law not a gift.

Be at peace today and trust in the Lord. He will show up in your situation right on time!
