For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will multiply upon you man and beast: and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.(Ezekiel 36:9-11)
Oh what a promise from God! No matter what we have done in our lives, no matter how we have messed up, God will turn to us when we repent. God’s love causes us to repent. The fruit of repentance is blessing. God’s best is for you. He will never hurt you. When I look back at where I was not so long ago to where God has brought me to today, I am amazed. There is no reason for fear. I have seen God’s hand work miracle after miracle in my life. Repentance is a daily act toward the Lord and what it does is point us in the right direction and it also exposes the condition of our hearts.
Turn all your problems and worries over to Jesus, He cares for you. God looks at the heart, the part that man can not see. It is easy to judge by what we see, God judges by what we can’t see. Allow your heart to be molded and melted by the living, loving and almighty God.
To obtain the blessings of God we must first obtain His favor. There are simple keys to getting God’s favor and they are found in His word. Proverbs 3:3-4 says,”let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”So clearly if we walk in love and continue in being faithful or obedient to God, we win His favor. A person can be saved but still not carry the favor of God in their life. I don’t know about you, but I desire to my very core to carry and show off the favor of God in my life!
If there are any changes that need to be made in your life so that you will walk in God’s blessings, then do so. To walk in His favor is breath taking and wonderful and His desire is to shower you with blessings because He cares for you!
