I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in His word I do hope. (Psalm 130:5)

Our minds, wills and emotions wait on God. In this life we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world and He has given us His word. When all the earth around is sinking sand, on Christ the solid rock we can stand. All we need is in Jesus. We have eternal life and everything that pertains to life and godliness. We are not left orphans.

Today the Lord wants you to trust Him in the midst of your storm. If you are taken out of the storm early, you will not have learned the valuable lesson that is being taught. The Jews walked in the desert for forty years until they learned what needed be. Be teachable so that promotion which is from God is set upon you. 

Waiting on God can be one of the most difficult things to do. It is in the waiting period that character and endurance and patience are developed. Without these important fruits, the very thing we are waiting for can not be stewarded properly. God knows what He is doing and His timing is perfect. Remember even Jesus was sent into the earth at the appointed time. Your appointed time is coming so very shortly! Just hang on to Him and He will guide and see you through.
