God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. (1 Thessalonians 4:3)
Hollywood is not the example for sexuality. On the silver screen we see beautiful, perfect bodied images in hot steamy forbidden sex and it arouses the senses, but yet somehow the end results are never portrayed in truth. In the end, sexual immorality will take people down a road of endless partners and all types of sexually transmitted diseases, torn and broken souls, and then death. We are being exposed to more and more freedom to have many partners and partners of the same sex. The flood gates have been opened by people to the devil to come and destroy lives by the millions.
When the door is open to the devil, he comes in and stays until repentance before God has taken place. There is a relaxed view on sin in these last days. God loves us all but He is displeased with sin in His people’s lives. God is not mocked, whatever a man sows, that shall he reap. I know because I am one who disobeyed God’s word for years. I leaned on the comfort of the teaching that all of my future sins were already forgiven by God. It is true that once we confess and repent of our sins that our past sins are thrown into the sea of forgetfulness, however if we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth than no sacrifice for sins is left, this is said in Hebrews 10:26. This verse was written to Jews who were converted to Christianity so it also is for us because in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile. Hebrews 10:29 says.”Think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.”
Holiness and purity before God needs to be part of our daily life. Stay clean before God. If you have messed up, have a change of mind about what you are doing, with action to change and receive the forgiveness of God. He is slow to anger and waiting for His people to turn from their twisted ways. He will hear from heaven and then heal our land. We are looking for the healing of our land without turning from our wicked ways and that just won’t work. Cry out to Him, it’s not too late. His love can reach into hell and His mercy can restore the chief of all sinners.
Seek Him while He may be found. Jesus loves so, so much and it is His will that none should perish. His heart is to keep us from pain and sorrow. It is up to us to listen and obey and when we do, we will eat the fruit of obedience which are His blessings!
