Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and He heard my cry. (Psalms 27:14, 40:1)
There are many of God’s people waiting on Him for positioning, for a miracle, for a healing, for deliverance, for a wife or husband, for financial breakthrough, for so many things. It may seem as though heaven is brass, but in truth, God is building character in His people. The more we set our face towards God like flint, the more steadfast we become in times of trouble and the stronger our relationship grows with the Father.
In spite of what many believe, God does use what we see as terrible situations for our own good. Wasn’t Job’s situation used for His own good? What about Joseph? What about Lazarus? I mean the guy was dead, but out of it came life! Wherever you are in your walk with the Lord, keep your focus and trust on Him. The enemy loves to distract us in our thinking by telling us to take matters in our own hands.to enter in early or late instead of right on time. If the enemy can’t abort your spiritual pregnancy, he will try to have you deliver too early or too late to cause a defected birth or even still born. Don’t change God’s timetable out of having little patience.
Know this day that God’s timing should be our only timing and He wants and has the best for all His children. Inquire of the Lord in all that you do and know that He is working all things out for your good because He loves you. The waiting period may not feel good but you will be happy you waited when you get to your promised land! Wait patiently for the Lord, He will hear your cry and answer you!
