For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14)
Jesus has chosen you! Any one lacking in self esteem can be delivered just by knowing this. Not only has He chosen you but He has ordained (called and empowered) you to be a fruit bearer for His kingdom. Nothing is of ourselves but rather of our Father. When you ask of the Father in Jesus’ name for whatsoever, He answers! The name of Jesus is powerful and He has given us the authority of His precious name. God is on the throne and He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. When the devil lies to you and tries to degrade who you are, remind him and yourself that by God Almighty, you are chosen! Many are called but few are chosen, or in other words, many have been extended and invitation by God but very few respond!
Once we know in our soul that God has chosen us, all the pressure to make things happen falls away. We realize that if God has chosen us then He will also empower us for the work that He has chosen us for. We never need to worry about being in a position where we depend on our own power and might. We must truly know that it is not by might or by power but by God’s Spirit that our destiny unravels. The choice of depending on God is just that, a choice. When God picks you to do a certain work for His Kingdom, He empowers you to accomplish it!
The very assignment, ministry, calling or mandate that God has chosen you for is your calling, not someone elses. Run with Jesus to complete the task He has set before you. He will surround you with those who are called to help you with your vision and support your efforts. Stand up strong and walk in your destiny by first acknowledging the Lord’s beckoning, then by sitting in the office where God has called you to sit, whether it be a pastor or teacher or evangelist or bus driver or janitor. We all have a place in the body of Christ and you are chosen!
